School Administrator Assessment Forms

2010-2011

The Principal and Assistant Principal Appraisal and Support System has been implemented so that school administrative performance can be evaluated in light of student performance, school improvement, and teacher quality.

Specifically, the system is intended to provide:

*a systematic mechanism that can provide feedback to school administrators concerning their own performance

*a link between the principal’s performance and school improvement

*a basis for the continued professional development of school-site administrators

*clear statement of system and public expectations of school-site job performance

*a mechanism capable assessing and promoting accountability for school-site administrators
