LCS District Security Center
Leon County Schools opened the District Security Center in spring of 2010. The DSC is a one stop, 24-hour monitoring facility built with grant dollars to oversee security for the district. Some of the actions that take place within the DSC are: Burglar/Fire Alarm Monitoring, Real time Weather Alerts, Bus Tracking, and Video Monitoring of all School Sites. The center operates in partnership with all law enforcement agencies in the region. For more information, or to talk to someone about an incident, please call 922-KIDS (922-5437).
