Read Like a Rock Star
Our "Read like a Rock Star" campaign has blasted off to a magnificent start. On our quest to reading an unprecedented 30,000 Accelerated Reader books, we have made tremendous progress. In the month of October our students read an incredible 5,072 books and in November an outrageous 5,011 books which brings our total thus far to over 11,000 books read. Our pizza party winner for October was Mr. Printemps's class with a mind boggling 972 books. In November Mrs. Bell's class won the pizza party with a surprising 842 books. Guitar (Trophy) winners by grade level are Kindergarten-Mrs. Frye, 1st-Mrs. Hajdukiewicz, 2nd-Mrs. Lee, 3rd-Mrs. Bell, 4th-Mrs. Formato, 5th-Mrs. Hannah.

Storybook Day will be Wednesday, December 12th.
Students of all levels will be dressing and discussing their favorite characters. This is our midpoint celebration of all the books Sabal Palm has been diligently reading in order to meet their goal of 30,000 books. If students continue at this pace, the administrators and reading coach will kiss several “exotic” frogs.

The Sabal Palm LEAP & Holiday Program
will be held Thursday, December 13 at 6:00 pm. We look forward to seeing parents, students, staff and members of the community. The performance includes music and dance from many genres.

Congratulations to the following students for their achievement in the Sabal Palm Elementary Spelling Bee;
