Rezoning For New Schools
Current Happenings
On January 15, 2008, a public hearing was held by the Leon County School Board to consider the zoning proposals presented by Superintendent Pons and the Zoning Committees for New Middle School CC and New Elementary School L. The proposed school attendance zones for both schools were approved unanimously by a vote of the school board.
The proposed school attendance zones prepared by each citizen committee are now final. Our office will immediately begin to notify families via mail that their child’s school attendance zone has been changed and what options are available to them.
